Server rules · full

Read before deploying.

Clear rules keep the Republic fun, fair, and playable. Team, raiding, base, safe-zone, and reporting rules matter.

Official support path

Ticket reports only.

Reports, appeals, bugs, purchase questions, and support belong in private Discord tickets.

Open Discord

Staff judgment applies. These are the public rules converted from Discord for the website. Administrators may act on behavior that harms the server even if it is not perfectly described below.

01

Respect & Conduct

  • No harassment, hate speech, doxxing, threats, or targeted toxicity.
  • No public witch-hunts. Use tickets for reports and appeals.
  • Trash talk is part of DayZ. Personal attacks, threats, and targeted behavior are not.
  • Do not impersonate staff, spoof another player, or intentionally mislead the community.
02

Teams

  • Team play is encouraged.
  • Maximum team size: 8 players.
  • Temporary teaming to bypass the limit is not allowed.
  • Groups are responsible for the actions of their members during raids, events, and disputes.
03

Raiding Rules

  • Raiding is permitted on doors, gates, and hatches only.
  • All raiding must be recorded from start to finish as continuous video.
  • Your base must be raidable.
  • Maximum 15 codelocked gates or doors per base.
  • No exploits, terrain abuse, object clipping, or unraidable construction to protect loot.
  • Keep raid footage available in case staff requests it during a report or appeal.
04

Base Building

  • Bases must be accessible and follow the raiding rules.
  • No sky bases, floating bases, mesh bases, bunker abuse, or construction that cannot be reasonably raided.
  • Do not block roads, bridges, wells, fuel pumps, mission areas, traders, safe zones, or major loot locations.
  • Do not grief-build around another group’s base to trap, block, or harass them.
  • Staff may remove builds that harm performance, block gameplay, or violate fair play.
05

PvP, Fresh Spawns & Combat Logging

  • PvP is allowed where the server rules and zones permit it.
  • No fresh-spawn farming or repeated harassment of new players.
  • No combat logging. If you are in danger, finish the situation.
  • Do not log out inside an enemy base to gain raid advantage later.
  • Do not use alternate accounts to scout, bypass rules, stash gear, or avoid consequences.
06

Safe Zones, Traders & Events

  • Respect trader areas, safe zones, event zones, and staff-posted temporary restrictions.
  • No baiting, camping, theft, harassment, blocking, or exploiting protection mechanics around safe zones.
  • Do not use safe zones as a shield to escape an active fight.
  • Event rules may add temporary restrictions. Follow announcements and staff instructions.
07

Cheating, Exploits & Ban Evasion

  • No cheating, hacking, scripting, duping, macro abuse, or third-party tools that create an unfair advantage.
  • No abusing bugs, glitches, economy loopholes, vehicle exploits, building exploits, or unintended mechanics.
  • No ban evasion. If you are banned, use the appeal process.
  • Zero-tolerance violations may result in permanent bans without warning.
08

Reports, Appeals & Staff Decisions

  • Use Discord tickets for reports, appeals, bugs, purchase questions, and server issues.
  • Provide video, screenshots, timestamps, player names, location details, and a clear explanation when possible.
  • Do not argue reports or accusations in global chat.
  • Cooperate with staff. The goal is a fair ruling, not a courtroom drama with worse lighting.
  • Final staff decisions protect the health of the server and community.
